    PORTERS ARE SO FRIENDLY
  • 7
Really friendly, has a good reputation of being both sociable and studious. Very good at sports as well. Has a really good comedy night. The JCR is very good and replies to suggestions and queries quickly. Friendliest porters in Cambridge definitely!!! Not stuffy or pretentious, formals have really good food for a decent price and you don't have to wear a gown.

Very good amenities; large rooms with big windows. Also hall food is one of the best in Cambridge and relatively cheap compared with other colleges
  • 5
campus is spacious and green, rooms are large with nice window seats

ladies and mixed netball teams are really good, they both won last season undefeated
  • 3
Nicest, biggest rooms in Cambridge and all rooms have big window seats

    edgy brutalist architecture
  • 2
    Great support system for students
  • 2
Laundry system is very easy and quick - there's an app which shows you when the machines are done
  • 1
    the rooms are SO nice
  • 1
We have a huge gym compared to other colleges, and onsite netball/tennis courts/rugby/football pitches
  • 1
Great for the social life but also easy to find silence (including in your room) for deadline stress.
  • 1
    Family friendly - we've got a children's playground
  • 0
Brilliant library and cheap events on site - feels like home and welcoming - loads of communal space!

  • 6
It is a bit further away from the centre (but only a 10 min cycle and its actually quite nice to be out the busy streets and have peace, quiet and lots of green space.
  • 2
Distance from centre of town - can sometimes be a trek to hang out with central college friends
  • 2
    bit ugly innit
  • 1
Buildings look ugly - but this does mean no crowds of tourists photographing it
  • 0
College staff has an unnatural fear of fire and are removing kitchen equipment that they believe to be a "fire hazard"

  • 5
    NOTHING

Cowan court rooms are like mini hotel rooms. Double beds and ensures with a nice window seat and even a mini fridge!
  • 1
Very good rooms - old courts have enormous heated window seats and are generally quite large, new (Cowan court) rooms are like a Swedish hotel
  • 0
ALL accommodation is onsite and there is space for all undergrads onsite. No moving out in second year!

Family friendly - some of the flats have access to a children's playground!

There's always a Vegan and Vegetarian option at every meal and they are usually very good, comparable to meat dishes-- you barely even notice that it is vegan/vegetarian!
